Blank was presented in "Wandering: Between Time and Space" on April 22, 2018 at 5:30 in the University of Florida: School of Theatre and Dance's Nadine Macguire Pavilion Atrium Space.
Blank was Choreographed and performed by Emma Anne Wedemeyer and Curated by the 2018 Israel Institute Visiting Artist, Hilla Ben Ari.
Blank takes inspiration from the summers of my adolescence staying at my grandparents' house as well as exploring the curiosity-driven mind of a child. Blending between open bounderies and ordered rules, I hope to transform the atrium into an immersive playground and invites the audience to take part in this obscure and indefinite space.
Dancer: Emma Anne Wedemeyer
Film: A combination of footage collected from Andrew Collins, Chadwick Gaspard, Imani Selvon, Caroline Lockwood, and Ariel Dykes
Music: Tin Hat Trio: Fountain of Youth, Ray Peterson: Tell Laura I Love Her, Alva Noto: Grains, Alva Noto: Particle 1
